We finished up our Labor day race weekend by not loosing, however Mother Nature really won. Sundays race both Rowan and Matt made it past second round before rain ended the day. Monday we woke up to rain and when the track was dry, we both won third round as well. But then the rain came in again and Rockingham Dragway made the right call to split. We had a good time hanging out our North Carolina friends and glad we went.
Now we turn our attention to Maryland International Raceway this weekend for the King of the Creek where Rowan races for $3,000 and Matt for $70,000 over the weekend!

Well our first day at Rockingham Dragway did not go as planned. Matt gave it back in 2nd round and Rowan went -.001 red in 3rd round when it took a full 15 seconds for the tree to drop. His visor ended up fogging up and lost to someone double entered. We have one more day here and then happy to head home to get ready for King of the Creek.

Today is officially Rowan’s first day of high school!! Unfortunately that means he will not be making the trip to Bristol Dragway for PDRA Racing stop #6.
This was a hard choice for us but we just couldn’t have him miss the first three days of high school. So Matt will make the solo trip to Bristol to represent Computech.

Happy birthday have a great day. I wish they had jr dragsters when I was young.
Points just dropped for the PDRA Racing season and boy did Matt make a big jump. In his quest to become Rookie of the Year he tore it up at US 131 Motorsports Park, taking his Computech Top Dragster from 28th in points to 9th! With only three races left in the season we can’t wait to get on track and try to capture his first win.
