The Robot is at Bristol Dragway for NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League ECF Championship! We raced yesterday and went out first round with a red light. But today is a new day and off the trailer we were .005 and 7.870, so we are ready!
Q1 is in the books for Rowan’s first PDRA Racing of the season and we came out swinging. Sitting 7th with a 7.912 and confident we’ll make the show. Dad got scurred at the last moment and added a pound so we would have been a solid 7.906 when trying to be 7.908! This Computech RaceBase has this junior absolutely dialed in.One more qualifier today and possibly first round today depending on weather.

We had a great day yesterday at the King of the Creek at Maryland International Raceway. We started the day off shearing the flywheel key and thanks to Ron Hubble we were able to get it repaired and on track for round 1.The Robot was on point all day on the starting line and the stripe even laying down a .001 light against his cousin Zach in the semi finals. In the finals round jumped the gun -.004 but his opponent was .002 dead 3 for a 5 pack!The Computech RaceBase had us dialed in all day and running within a hundereth of what we wanted nearly every pass.We are racing again today so hopefully we can put it in the winners circle again.
Rowan just won third round and Matt is in the lanes for second round.
The Robot is through first round. Now to see what Matt can do in the Computech Top Dragster.
When there’s no drag racing to do Minimus R/C Raceway and Hobbies has us covered with RC racing. Rowan won the rally b main and got second in the oval b main.
Rowan's Racing and Computech are at GALOT Motorsports Park for the 7th stop of the PDRA Racing season. We kick it off today with testing for the Robot and later on qualifying for Matt. Be sure to watch along with FloDragRacing to see us in action.
Rowan's Racing is at Maryland International Raceway's King of the Creek race and Rowan got through first round and waiting on second now. Hopefully its gonna be a long night!
Today is officially Rowan’s first day of high school!! Unfortunately that means he will not be making the trip to Bristol Dragway for PDRA Racing stop #6.This was a hard choice for us but we just couldn’t have him miss the first three days of high school. So Matt will make the solo trip to Bristol to represent Computech.
Everyone, please join me in wishing the Robot a very Happy Birthday! He is now 14 years old and only two away from stepping into a big car!
Points just dropped for the PDRA Racing season and boy did Matt make a big jump. In his quest to become Rookie of the Year he tore it up at US 131 Motorsports Park, taking his Computech Top Dragster from 28th in points to 9th! With only three races left in the season we can’t wait to get on track and try to capture his first win.
Unfortunately Rowan lost first round. He was a little late and the car stumbled off the hit and it was too much to overcome. Luckily Matt is on fire and just won second round. Let’s keep going!
Today is Race Day!! Rowan has one more qualifier first thing and then Matt starts eliminations off with first round.
So we had a nasty rain storm blow in today. Unfortunately they had called Top Dragster to the lanes so we were at the front of the line when a torrential downpour came. Matt had to drive the dragster back on the return road and Rowan back on his burromax barely able to see.Then the rain cleared and Matt was able to get the last Top Dragster qualifier in. After already qualifying well we put a slower pulley on, expected a 4.44 and went a 4.345 with a -.003 light after just going .000 trip zip. After Q2 Matt is locked in as #9 and ready to go some rounds tomorrow.Rowan still has one more qualifier in the morning and then into first round for us both. Be sure to tune into FloRacing to watch all the PDRA Racing.
Q1 is in the books and both Matt and Rowan are qualified, with Matt sitting 4th in the top dragster field.
Two test passes are done. The first we tried to experiment some and weren’t happy with it. Second pass was right back to where we wanted and a little more tweaking should get his lights even better.
Today is Rowan’s test and tune and Matt’s first round of qualifying. Check us out on FloRacing!
Rowan's Racing is officially in Michigan! US 131 Motorsports Park is the place to be this weekend for stop #5 of the PDRA Racing season. We start tomorrow with time runs and will post a full schedule in the morning.
